How is the process of placing and fulfilling a car transport order?

  • You can find out the price of transportation using our calculator, or by contacting us, we will prepare an individual offer for your request.
  • If the costs and deadlines are approved, we will send you the contract form in order to receive all the necessary information for car transportation.
  • A couple of days before loading, we inform you about the exact loading time.
  • If the car is purchased from a dealer, we send the necessary data from our side for the preparation of the power of attorney (if necessary/requested by the dealer).
  • We inform you that the car is loaded and give the estimated delivery time.
  • Until the car is received, our logistics specialist will send you an invoice.
  • If necessary, we inform you about the exact delivery time.

What information is required to place a car transport order?

  • Car loading and delivery address as well as contact information.
  • Make, model and chassis/registration number of the vehicle being transported.
  • If the car has been purchased, it is necessary to settle all obligations (including payment) so that loading can be carried out without delay.

Is the car inspected before it is loaded onto the car carrier?

According to ECG (The Association of European Vehicle Logistics) standards, a visual inspection of the car is performed before it is transported and loaded. Namely, photos are taken, and CMR (contract of international carriage of goods by road) marks are made. If the car has any imperfections or damages when you receive it, you can contact the car seller with photos.

Can personal belongings be left in the car during car transport?

Yes, personal belongings can be left in the car during transportation. However, our staff will not secure or inventory the items. Therefore, we do not assume any responsibility for the belongings left behind.

Does the car transport service require prepayment?

Prepayment is not mandatory, but payment for the transport service must be made before the car is delivered.

Do you register the delivered car for the first time in Latvia?

Yes, we offer such a service. In order for the process to go smoothly, the following is necessary:

  • The car itself.
  • Previous technical passport or manufacturer's COC (Certificate of Conformity).
  • Contract for the purchase of the transported car.

What is the difference between CMR and CARGO insurance?

CMR (Cargo waybill) covers 10 euros for each kilogram of cargo, so on average 13,000 - 25,000 euros per car.

CARGO (additional cargo insurance) covers the entire value of the transported car for damages related to cargo damage during transportation.

How long does car transportation typically take?

Delivery times vary depending on the route and distance:

  • Within Europe (EU): 3-7 business days
  • EU to Ukraine: 5-10 business days
  • Express service: Available upon request for urgent deliveries

We provide you with estimated delivery times before loading and keep you informed throughout the transportation process.

Can I track my vehicle during transportation?

Yes, all our carriers are equipped with satellite tracking systems. Once your vehicle is loaded, we provide you with tracking information and regular updates on the transportation status. Our logistics specialists are available 24/7 to answer any questions about your shipment's location and estimated arrival time.

What happens if my car is damaged during transport?

In the rare event of damage during transportation:

  • Document the damage immediately upon delivery with photos and notes on the CMR document.
  • Contact our logistics team within 24 hours to file a claim.
  • We will process your claim according to the insurance coverage (CMR or CARGO).
  • Claims are typically resolved within 14-30 days depending on the complexity.
